DEVELOPMENT AND CONSERVATION STRATEGY

DEVELOPMENT AND CONSERVATION STRATEGY

The portions of land concerned by the Protection and Conservation Plan for Natural Environments (PPCMN, Plan de protection et de conservation des milieux naturels) or subject to the Interim Control Regulation (RCI, Règlement de contrôle intérimaire) protecting the Boreal chorus frog, as well as portions of farmland protected by the Act respecting the preservation of agricultural land and agricultural activities (APALAA), represent opportunities to apply best practices in terms of the integration and conservation of natural and farming environments.

There is also a heritage component to this strategy, which includes buildings of interest, landscapes, and archeological potential.

INFRASTRUCTURE STRATEGY

INFRASTRUCTURE STRATEGY

Infrastructure must be able to support the proposed activities. Namely, this involves setting up green and resilient infrastructure, in addition to increasing and improving existing infrastructure networks so that they can efficiently serve development sectors for years to come.

MOBILITY STRATEGY

MOBILITY STRATEGY

Defining the aerocity sectors represents an opportunity to use active and collective transportation while encouraging the sustainable transportation of goods.

REAL ESTATE AND REGULATORY STRATEGY

REAL ESTATE AND REGULATORY STRATEGY

This strategy serves to define potential and short-, medium- and long-term targets according to the uses planned for each sector identified via our spatial organization concept and their potential impact on land use.

A regulatory framework governing the construction and use of the buildings and land for each sector of the aerocity will enable such real estate development.
