Profecta, a Longueuil-based label provider for the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, has taken the steps to implement Industry 4.0 standards in its factory. According to La Presse, Profecta has already put in place an ERP system to fully take advantage of automation and data exchange to boost productivity. The ultimate goal, reveals the chief executive Christian Dollo, is to get in real time the costs associated with the manufacturing all of its products. With its ERP, Profecta is gathers, analyses and archives all the data collected from its administrative and operational activities.
