LONGUEUIL: Chrono Aviation holds a ground-breaking ceremony for a new $12 millions hangar

October 7, 2019

Chrono Aviation recently held a ground-breaking ceremony for its new $12 millions hangar that will be built at Montreal-Saint-Hubert airport. The hangar will employ 40 people as soon as 2020, when it is ready to open. Subsidiaries of Chrono Aviation, like Waas Aerospace, will take up space in it. Waas, wich is specialized un planes and avionics maintenance, like Cessna and Boeing, will transfer its headquarters. The new hangar will have state of the art installations that will make it 100% autonomous: paint room, machine shop, avionics and structure workshops, cold room to manufacture commodities destined to Quebec’s Great North and a 100-seating area restaurant to accommodate Chrono Aviation’s employees.
