Knowlton Development Corporation (KDC/ONE) recently announced that it has acquired ALKOS Group, one of the top French cosmetics manufacturers. In buying ALKOS, KDC/ONE gets a company that has its headquarter in Paris, employs more than 400 persons in three factories and is the only French manufacturer of cosmetics pencils. The acquisition of ALKOS gives KDC/ONE a strategic access to the European market and reinforces its position as a leader in prestige beauty, says the CEO of KDC/ONE, Nicholas Whitley.
