Longueuil-based Letenda is teaming-up with Rio Tinto to develop an electric, aluminum-based bus. The goal set by Letenda is to present a new wave of buses in 2020 that is propelled by an electric engine and that is winter-tough. The fist model, called Electrip, is a nine meters long bus that is aimed at companies and institution so they could transport personnel or clients on short trips.
